Images all look the same

Problem: Generated images lack variety.

Cause: Weak reference images or narrow style keywords.

Solution: Upload 4 varied reference images (front, left, right, and back views). Add more diverse style keywords. Increase mood variance.

Engagement automation not working

• Check: is the engine enabled in Settings > Engagement?
• Check: are you over the per-platform action rate limits configured in Settings > Engagement?
• Check: are you approving queued actions? Auto-approve is off by default.
• If the symptom persists across accounts, the engagement service may be having an issue on our end. Check status.autopersonas.com or contact support.

API calls failing

• 401 Unauthorized, API key invalid or missing the Bearer prefix.
• 403 Forbidden, Key lacks the required scope (check /settings/api-keys).
• 429 Rate Limited, Default is 60 req/min per key. Wait or contact support for a higher limit.
• 500 Internal Server Error, transient on our end. Check status.autopersonas.com or retry with a short backoff.

Content stuck in GENERATING

• AI generation can take 30-120 seconds.
• If stuck longer than 5 minutes, click the cleanup button (trash icon) on the Content page to mark the item as FAILED.
• Regenerate from the failed item if desired.

Can't connect X account

• Callback URI mismatch, Ensure the app has callback https://autopersonas.com/accounts/callback.
• OAuth 2.0 not enabled, Required in the X Developer Portal.
• See the Social OAuth Guide for full X setup.

Instagram posts not publishing

• An Instagram Business Account is required (not Personal or Creator).
• The app must be approved for the instagram_content_publish permission.
• The media URL must be publicly accessible. URLs that AutoPersonas issues for uploaded media work out of the box.

Budget exceeded / actions blocked

• If using Hard Stop mode, raise the budget in Settings > Billing.
• Actions resume once the budget is raised or the month resets.

Performance analysis not running

• A character needs at least 10 published posts with engagement data.
• Check /analytics > Learning Dashboard for the Analyze Now button.
