Creating AI Influencers
AI influencers are the heart of AutoPersonas. A well-defined influencer produces consistent, engaging content that feels authentic.
Two profile types
Profiles come in two types and the choice is permanent at creation:
- Character (AI Influencer): a fully synthetic persona. AutoPersonas owns the visual identity, generates every image, and can clone a voice for lip-sync. This page covers that flow.
- Managed: a real social account you already own. AutoPersonas only writes captions and runs the schedule; you upload your own media. See Managed Accounts for the managed workflow.
The Creation Wizard
Navigate to Influencers, New and pick AI Influencer to launch the six-step wizard.
Step 1: Basics
Set the foundation, name, display name, age, location, and a short bio. The bio appears in generated captions and shapes the influencer's self-awareness.
Step 2: Visuals (Ingredient Library)
The ingredient library defines how your AI influencer looks in generated images:
- Base Prompt, A detailed description of your influencer's physical appearance (minimum 10 characters).
- Consistent Elements, Features that should appear in every image (e.g., "auburn wavy hair", "light freckles").
- Style Keywords, Aesthetic direction like "cinematic lighting" or "warm tones".
- Wardrobe, Define outfit items with descriptions, categories, and occasions. Mark one as default.
- Preferred Settings, Locations where the influencer is typically photographed.
- Aspect Ratio, Choose 1:1, 4:5, or 9:16 depending on your primary platform.
Step 3: Personality
Personality drives caption generation and engagement responses:
- Big Five Traits, Rate openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism on a 0-100 scale.
- Writing Style, Control formality, humor level, emoji usage, hashtag style, and typical caption length.
- Interests & Expertise, Topics the influencer naturally talks about.
- Voice Samples, Provide example captions. These are used as few-shot examples during generation.
- Catchphrases & Quirks, Unique phrases or habits that make the influencer memorable.
Step 4: Lifestyle
Define daily routines (wake-up rituals, work habits) and weekly activities. The scheduler uses these to generate contextually appropriate content at the right times.
Step 5: Mood
Set an emotional baseline and variance. Define mood-specific visual expressions (e.g., "creative" → "focused and inspired") that the image generator uses to vary expressions across posts.
Step 6: Preview & Create
Review all settings at a glance and create the influencer. You can always edit any section later from the influencer detail page.
Tips for Great AI Influencers
- Be specific in the base prompt. Instead of "a woman", write "young woman in mid-20s with auburn hair, light freckles, hazel eyes, and a warm smile".
- Add 3-5 voice samples. The more examples the AI has, the better it matches your influencer's tone.
- Use wardrobe variety. Multiple outfits keep the feed visually interesting while maintaining identity.
- Import from X. If you already have an active X account, use Import from X to auto-generate an influencer config from your existing posts.
